Founded in 1909, Levante UD have spent significant periods in La Liga and are one of the most recognisable clubs in the Valencia Community. Their finest modern era came in the early 2010s when they competed consistently in La Liga and reached the Copa del Rey final in 2012, losing to Athletic Club.
