Founded in 1929 in the Inchicore area of Dublin, St Patrick's Athletic have been a consistent presence in the League of Ireland Premier Division throughout their history. St Pats won their most recent league title in 2021 under manager Tim Clancy, ending a long wait for silverware and sparking enormous celebrations in Inchicore.
